  1. Setting the Programmable Timer for a VCR Recording

  4. Press the PGM/START button and select one of the 4 available
  5. programs.
  6. Set the channel by pressing the CHANNEL selection button.
  7. Set the tape speed by pressing SP/EP button.
  8. Set the recording time by pressing the DAY, HOUR, MIN + and - buttons.
  9. Type of program:
  10.     (one time program)
  11.     Set the end time using HOUR/MIN button.
  12.     -check
  13.     Press the TIMER button.
  14.     Did the "E" symbol appear?
  15.         (no)
  16.         (yes) Does the cassette have safety tab?
  17.             (yes) Error must have been made.  Clear contents.
  18.             >again
  19.             (no) Replace the cassette!
  20.     (specific day of the 1st week)
  21.     -press0
  22.     Press the Day button once.
  23.     Needed day indicator light up on the display?
  24.         (no) >press0
  25.         (yes)
  26.     (specific day of the 2nd week)
  27.     -press
  28.     Press the Day button.
  29.     "II" indicator light up on the display?
  30.         (no) >press
  31.         (yes)
  32.     (same time every weekday)
  33.     -press2
  34.     Press the Day button.
  35.     Did MO-SA indicator light up on the display?
  36.         (no) >press2
  37.         (yes)
  38.     (same time every day)
  39.     -press2a
  40.     Press the Day button.
  41.     Every day of the week indicator light up ?
  42.         (yes)
  43.         (no) >press2a
